From the first meeting with Melissa, I felt relaxed and immediately re-inspired about my wardrobe, my goals and desire to ‘fall back in love with fashion’ again. After years of mostly only lycra or work clothes, I had no sense check on what to wear for all the non-sporty or work events. Every social event had become a chore, me wondering or worrying about what I would wear. A few random buys here and there over a few years, meant nothing really worked together well in my wardrobe. I dreamt of being able to look in my wardrobe and already know what would look amazing. After our second session going through the actual clothes in my wardrobe, I got quite excited. Firstly because my current wardrobe was less of a disaster than I thought. We are our own worst critics as women. Then secondly Melissa was super confident a few key pieces could be bought, that would tie outfits together well or provide me with a very easy mix and match wardrobe. This was a huge relief and so next was the shopping session. Literally from the first five minutes in the dressing room, trying on the pre-selected items, I was thrilled. The first pair of pants fit beautiful, the most comfortable pants ever – great for both work and social. Then the shorts were beautiful, comfortable and I thought quite chic. Then a skirt, a beautiful design and whilst I’ve never worn or owned a white skirt, it made complete sense and looked fabulous. A few no’s to tops and blouses that weren’t my vibe or material. We were both getting a real sense of what worked for my shape, style and personality. It was really fun, the time went quickly and I invested in a few quality pieces to work in with my existing wardrobe. The entire experience has really re-inspired not only my only beliefs and actions about fashion, it’s helped me refocus on supporting my teenagers and encourage them to love fashion too. My avoiding shopping, had impacted what they were or weren’t wearing. Each social event since my shopping expedition has been very exciting. Getting dressed and ready in minutes, looking and feeling great. Thanks Melissa for helping me fall back in love with fashion again. You really helped me choose some wonderful pieces on a budget and here’s to looking fabulous in 2025.

I hadn’t shopped properly for clothes in over 10 years and my wardrobe was filled with tops, plain black pants, and active wear - a lot of "Mummy outfits". Engaging with Melissa for her styling services was a game-changer. She helped identify my style, culled my closet, and guided me on a fun shopping trip (that was my highlight!). Melissa's practical advice and guidance helped me find clothes which are suited my body type. She encouraged me to try new items like long skirts, collared shirts, and casual jackets./blazers. My experience with Melissa was first class, she was very professional, efficient and skilled at her trade. I now have a functioning wardrobe that I have grown to love and not dread and enjoy the experience of dressing myself with renewed confidence.
